I never used it yet, but I hear some people get 30 day trial while others get less, why is that?

### my embedded system doesn’t have web/ mobile or desktop interface to test. can i use ranorex and design wise to test my product’s API and communications protocols? Can i opt out of web and mobile test modules and use automation framework only?

Yes. You could create a “Blank Project” in Ranorex, and use User Code modules within that project to do your API tests.
