Hey all

The Ask me anything with Lisa Crispin was awesome yesterday. I can’t believe I’ve never read Explore It! by Elisabeth Hendrickson. I ordered it from amazon and avidly reading it this afternoon.

What other books can I get my hands on?

thanks for reading my first post 😉 I hope to get more involved over the upcoming weeks.

Bob Martin has two books with similar titles:
“Clean Code” and “The Clean Coder: A Code of Conduct for Professional Programmers”

Both are very good, different purposes, but overlapping topics.

Hello @melissafisher!

I find it challenging to pick just five. If I may take some liberty around topics, I picked five for testing and five for social.

**Testing**

- Specification By Example (someone else suggested this one - changed the way I think about automation and requirements)
- How Google Tests Software
- Thinking, Fast and Slow
- Lessons Learned in Software Testing
- How to Observe Software Systems

**Social**

- Crucial Conversations
- Visual Meetings
- The Invisible Gorilla
- Becoming a Change Artist
- 7 Habits
