EXPIRED - Call to Speak - TestBash World: Closes on the 13th of March 2022

Deadline to submit: Sunday, 13th of March 2022
Presentation date: Wednesday, 22nd and Thursday, 23rd of June 2022

We believe TestBash World will not just be the biggest TestBash to date, it will be the biggest testing conference ever. With 1000+ attending online and over 1000+ attending at meetups around the world. It’s going to be an event not to be missed.

We have two ways for folk to contribute TestBash World.

Talk

What we are looking for: Take the TestBash World stage by storm. There is no theme for TestBash World we are looking for talk on all things testing. Historically our community prefers to hear experience based talks over theory talks.

Payment: Talks can be 10, 20 or 30 minutes in length. We are offering a fee of £50 per 10 minutes. So, for 30 minutes, we’d pay you £150.

Format: All talks will be pre-recorded. You can record them yourselves and send them to us, or you can book a session to record live with a member of team MoT. You will then attend the conference live for an introduction and live QnA after your recording has played.

Talk + Activity

What we are looking for: Take the TestBash World stage by storm. There is no theme for TestBash World we are looking for talk on all things testing. Historically our community prefers to hear experience based talks over theory talks. During or following your talk you’ll design an activity with the support of Team MoT that attendees at the meetups and online can complete.

E.g. Your talk is about Leadership. You might design some scenario based activities to get groups discussing what they would do in a specific situation. Then they’ll share their approaches centrally perhaps on Miro board. Team MoT will help you with these activities.

Payment: Talk + Activities will last for 90 minutes. We’d pay you £300 for these.

Format: Ideally the talk section will be pre-recorded and then the activity time will follow. The activity will be done live, and our hosts will work with you to drive the engagement. Perhaps going live to meetup cities to see how they are getting on, inviting attendees on screen and reviewing the centralised medium(e.g. Miro) with you.

How to submit:

Please submit your abstract via the website . If you are choosing to also do an activity you will also need to include some activity ideas, they don’t need to be fully explained, but share what you are currently thinking.
