Critical: Job Board & Profile Crash After Adding ~200 Jobs (Needs Fix)

Hi Team,

I noticed an issue while adding job postings to the Job Board.

I was actively adding jobs to keep the board updated, and after adding around 200 jobs, both the Job Board page and my Profile page started returning an error message:

“We encountered a problem with that request.”
“We’re sorry, but something went wrong.”

Because of this, I’m currently unable to view the Job Board or access my profile.

This looks like it may be related to:

A data limit (pagination / query threshold)

Or profile/job-list rendering load limits

Steps to Reproduce:

Add jobs normally to Job Board

While adding the ~200th Job are associated with your profile

Attempt to view:

https://www.ministryoftesting.com/jobs

Both result in an application error

Expected Behavior:

Job Board and Profile should still load normally

The system should handle large job lists (e.g., using pagination)

Actual Behavior:

Both pages return an error and do not load

Request:

Could the team please look into this and apply a fix (possibly adding pagination or increasing the data load threshold)?

@rosie , @simon_tomes , @sarahdeery

Thanks in advance for your help! :raising_hands:

An image didn’t upload properly to s3, so sorted that and things are back up.

Curious, who has 200 jobs?

The job board is community-led, so people post jobs they see in the wild, and can earn community stars along the way.
