Hi all,

I have been putting off writing test cases for a while in my current role. However, the need has arisen now for two reasons:

1. So that a new member of support staff can follow the test cases and help with regression
2. As a reference point to make automated tests from

I decided on gherkin as we used it somewhat loosely in a previous role. However, it seems my memory of it is pretty vague. I have done some reading online, including a helpful helpful guide that was recommended here: [BDD | Automation Panda](https://automationpanda.com/bdd/)

My company is very good about training so if anyone knows of a good online course, especially one that focuses on getting the language side right, then I would love to hear about it.

I took the course below at the Serenity Dojo and found it useful.

> **[Agile and BDD Requirements Discovery Blueprint Training](https://expansion.serenity-dojo.com/courses/agile-requirements-discovery-blueprint)**
>
> Learn agile requirements discovery and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) practices that will help you focus your team's efforts and understanding, and lay the groundwork for a successful test automation strategy.

It’s not actually a course, but this book could make your day, totally recommended:

> **[The BDD Books – Formulation](https://leanpub.com/bddbooks-formulation)**
>
> Written by the creator of SpecFlow and the author of The Cucumber for Java Book, this book gives the reader the inside information on how to effectively formulate the concrete examples generated during the discovery phase as business-readable,...
