# What unlucky release stories do you have for Friday 13th?

For the day that’s in it, I thought it would be fun to ask what unlucky release stories do you have for Friday 13th?

Mine is not very spectacular, but a Friday story though.

I learned by my own experience why releasing software on a Friday might be not the best idea.  
Especially on a Friday evening, when most of the folks already called it the week. The tester sitting at home enjoying a cup of tea, biscuits, and a book. Some late working, lonely developer created and published the release and went home.

The surprise came on Monday morning then…

My team/company don’t usually do releases on Fridays.Thursday is usually the deadline to prod.

Yes, I am trying to establish that mindset too. What I realized Master Yoda memes work quite well to get the message through to my folks 🙂
