Hi there Jon and Steven,
While I think we can all agree there’s a distinction between Test and QA and that there’s value in the discussion, I don’t think it’s here.
I offer you a different place: Quality Assurance - stop using this term!
At this point it doesn’t matter who’s right or wrong or who misinterpreted who, the discussion has been derailed. 
I for one would love to hear your thoughts on how to start a team that is focussed on providing information about quality and helps to improve said quality.
Help me get this thread back on track?
