Hi everyone, my name is Christine,
I’m an automation engineer with over 15 years in tech, transitioning into the realm of AI within testing. My journey through various roles, from customer support to leading teams, has culminated in a passion for enhancing tech processes through automation. What sparked my interest in AI for testing was its potential to streamline and innovate traditional testing methodologies, particularly in areas like automated error detection and dynamic test case generation. In this challenge, I aim to deepen my understanding of AI’s application in testing, exploring cutting-edge tools and strategies to elevate the efficacy and efficiency of testing processes.

Good afternoon from cold rainy Atlanta/GA!
Which security measures can we take (on a regular basis) to safely use AI in our testing activities?

Hello, I’m JB. I’m a QA Engineer for a data analytics and software team. I’ve been using AI a little in my work, mainly the github copilot and also ChatGPT to play around with creating test plans/test cases (nothing substantial, just seeing what it can do). I’m interested to learn more about what can be accomplished with AI as a tool.

I’m Maaret, and I am surprised that I managed to make a 30-days thing on its first day - yay! I have been in testing/quality/development space for 26 years and currently moonlight as tester while my official work is management of a product team of 20 people.

I have been testing systems with AI, researching AI and using packaged AI tools GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT. The latter just announced my death for again to humour me for a Friday evening, as I checked what I get out after finishing a blog post on What AI Changes in Software Testing?

Joined this to stretch with whatever comes for 30 days.

Hi everybody,

My name is Eduardo, and I am Sr Principal Systems and Software Test Engineer in the embedded communications systems world. I have 20+ year of experience in testing, and it’s in my work culture to find new ways to improve processes that can bring real value to the company´s revenue.
I am just beginning in AI, and my main interest would be to find ways to be even more efficient using AI to e.g. select the optimal test plan to execute, define better test cases based in requirements, and perform custom regressions based only in code changes and the interactions between the different system components.

Hi
Gemma here. I’ve been a tester for nearly 10 years. Just started a new Testing role in a small but very rapidly growing IT company working with the military sector.
Its a new challenge as the company hasn’t had a proper Testing function so will be building and implementing this with my manager. Just 2 of us at the moment! A different experience for me.
As well as this challenge, I’m also looking to get more imvolved in wider testing community, more conferences, networking etc.
AI is something I haven’t shown much interest in previously, but feel its important to understand more about what it is, the positives and negatives and what it can improve in the testing space.

Hi all,

I’m Dmitrij, from Prague, Czech republic. I’ve known MOT for a long time, but haven’t interacted with until today. Currently I work as a Test Manager.

Some people say AI is going to take their jobs, some testers say so as well. I don’t think so, instead I’m excited about how it will contribute to our daily job and life.

I’m interested in exploring all different ways of application of AI in software testing, e.g. by prompting AI to help with choosing the automation framework for your project.

Hello All,

My name is Ricardo. I’m running away from my past in hospitality, trying to work out how to be an imposter on quality assurance. Well, I must admit a did a pit-stop on web development that felt pretty confident.

I was not interested on AI, at all. But nowadays is getting harder to browse without meeting a chatbot. So I started with image processing, stretching the prompts to find the banned words. But what really pick-me-up was conversational AI, they have a good conversation.

I hope to improve my testing skills with this challenge, as well to find out how AI fits in testing, more than the obvious automated testing (if an AI runs a test plan up down, it becomes an automated test plan? ).

And that is for me, thanks for reading :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m QA lead at a small company that has experienced a significant amount of growth in the past two years. I’ve been around MoT for a while and I’ve learned very valuable lessons from people here which I wouldn’t have been able to learn anywhere else.

I’m interested in AI in testing because it seems like something I should know about, given that it is such a quickly growing technology. I doubt I will use it anytime soon for my team, but I’d like to understand more about it anyway.

Oscar from Sweden. I have been a QA for almost 20 years in different areas, telecommunications, medical devices and now on ip cameras and access control systems.

I have tried to use ChatGPT and I was amazed that I could improve some of my scripts just as copy paste of the scripts and ask to improve and give error message and improve more and after maybe 10-15 iterations see that the the I have managed to improve my script using ChatGPT. Amazing that it is like a senior guy sitting besides you and helping you with all kind of questions and educating.

I work in a scrum team as qa but I also do some test automation and also scrum master tasks when needed in my team. I think there are too many areas where AI will be amazingly efficient.

Looking forward to broaden my knowledge on AI with this challenge of 30 days testing with AI
