How do you take notes at a conference/meetup?

I like to quickly scribble down things from slides but also, write down things directly from the speaker if they stand out to me.

How about you, how do you take notes at a conference, meetup or other types of community gatherings ?

What do you do with those notes later on?

In most of the meetup, the organizers provide diary or note book before the meetup starts so I used that to note down important points, however in case if they are not being provided then I use apps in my mobile for making notes.

  3. Some good quotes / examples if anyone is quoted
  4. Some ideas if i get from them to create content

The stuff i already know i generally don’t note it down

If diary and pen is not provided, then i use the widget which is available on my phone desktop
