Principle 4 - Exercise 1: What is your role in leading quality

Time: 5-10 Minutes

Purpose: While the whole team owns quality, the responsibility for improving the quality culture often lies with those of us interested in Modern Testing (and with testing backgrounds).

Introduction: Another reflection exercise where we look at our skills and context and think about why we are well suited to lead the quality culture on our teams.

Activity:

List 1-3 reasons why YOU are well-suited to lead the quality culture on your team.

Put your answers in a thread - Iā€™m looking forward to seeing what we all come up with.

  1. I am passionate about giving our customers a product that they want to use.
  2. I am very interested in the technical aspect of #1. The different ways we can test, how code is written, #DevOps, how we can improve processes to improve our code quality and deployment frequency, how individual persons can form a working unit to work even more efficiently
  3. I care about our company and our products.
