A brand new face has come up in the world on Record and Playback Tools for Web. As of Chrome 97 we get a preview of Chrome Recorder.

I’ve seen this functionality being announced not long ago, but I didn’t check it out beyond that, thanks for the video explanation! 
It is still work in progress but it does have a lot of potential
