So how about it? Take a 10-minute break from your work and give it a go. And feel free to share a photo of your efforts here if you like. 
Are there rules about changing the shape of the A4 paper? (e.g. can I fold and tear the paper so that it becomes square?)

Great question! Go with whatever you wanna go with. 
OK I’m going to give this a shot in the afternoon, I think I remember how to fold a butterfly out of an A4. Gonna let the memory resurface for a bit and then get cracking.

My brain sometimes works in strange ways as I also see them as a pair of “rock n roll” trousers with flared out sides and wings. The sort of thing a metal band would wear at Eurovision. 
Butterfly Rock Pants!? (I don’t tend to use the American English word for trousers yet perhaps that works 
).
Managed to park my motorbike on its side the other day… I got a lucky break though because I’d got this 10-days All Risk for free with my new insurance, so timing was amazing, they reimbursed me for the (very minor) damages. The little sketch I had to make was super embarrassing though because it was essentially a drawing of me just falling over…
Hahahaha I’ll send them over to Italy for inspiration, I think they might want to do some more rock n roll seeing how well that went this year 
A frog! Have made many of these over the years.
The cool thing is that they can really jump.
And yes, we do have green a4 paper
