Iām testing a warehouse/data pipeline system and recently Iām getting a lot of features where we : 1. added dimension 2. created links between tables.
In my test shares the devs say to just check that the corresponding view tables were created for the new dimensions, see that you can find the dimensions in all the model platforms (OLAP/Dev Express) and obviously validate the values given with the source data.
For the table links, they say to check the bim file where you can physically see the links between the tables.
Is this sufficient testing though? This is the first company where I had to test these type of things, so Iām not sure if Iām doing enough with the testing.
Any tips and trips will be appreciated
