Looking for practical tools or techniques that have worked for you?

Here’s what I have used and has worked to a good degree:

  • pairwise tool (pairwise)

  • testcompass (MBT)

  • all pairs (combinatorial testing, pairwise)

What else should I be looking at?

No, tools bounds the limitation as their design and then we are bound to limit our self according to tools.

Be careful of using the braindump of someone specially when you are thinking wrt your core capacity.
