As a new tester who works at a company that has embraced GitHub Copilot for use in my daily activities; I truly believe that AI will not replace humans when it comes to jobs like this. AI is a scary subject and it is very polarizing.
Personally, I love it. Using AI to help me write test cases is helping me to more think like a tester. I have written test cases for a story and then had Copilot write test cases for the same story. The AI test cases covered the acceptance criteria in all of the places that I didn’t think about. Our devs are using it as well to help them with their work.
I wonder how many companies have already adapted AI into their daily activities?
