I was today years old when I heard that,
Most IT issues are PICNIC issues!
Picnic meaning ’problem in chair, not in computer’. So user error in other words.
Have you heard of this?
Are there any others like this out there I’m unaware of?
Please let me know, I’ve obviously missed out on an area of knowledge. Thanks.

Sometimes when I’d make the mistake of misidentifying a bug*, I was referred to (affectionately) as a PEBSAK.
Problem exists between seat and keyboard.

*typically some environment issue instead of a bug with the software

omg Simon! We always say PEBCAK! Problem Exists between Chair & Keyboard
I’ve also heard:
- ID-10T Error - (Idiot Error)
- It was a “Code-18” (had to google again what it was but it’s an error made by a user which is 18inches from the screen)

If we allow users to make errors that result in data issues, then it is still our fault.
