Isn't HTSM equally applicable when creating requirements?

This is a philosophy of testing type question.

James Bach’s HTSM is a powerful model for testers.

Can’t the same categories be used when creating requirements?

Given the brave new world of “one team” , wouldn’t it be better to share HTSM with BAs, product designers?

We can certainly share ideas from HTSM.

From my experience: Just ensure that we don’t overwhelm them. Maybe educate them about the quality criteria part or discuss our testing strategy built using HTSM as a starting step.

A better model to apply would be QCSD by Lalit Bhamare which links to some parts of HTSM plus other parts for whole team collaboration.
