Like/Unlike Bug in Memories – Status Not Updating & 404 Error on Retry

Dear MoT Team,

I’ve encountered a bug with the like/unlike functionality in a newly created memory on my profile. Here are the details:

Issue Description:

Like/Unlike Action: When I click “like” and then “unlike” on a memory, the status shows as “unliked,” but the action doesn’t actually register correctly. It appears as if it’s unliked, but the memory is still technically in the “liked” state.

Subsequent Unlike Action: After trying to “unlike” again, I receive a 404 error in the console and the memory content does not load. Instead, I see a “content missing” message, indicating a failure in fetching the memory.

Steps to Reproduce:

Create a new memory.

Click “like” and then “unlike” the memory.

The like/unlike action shows as “unliked,” but the action isn’t registered correctly (memory still in the liked state).

When trying to unlike the memory again, a 404 error occurs, and the content fails to load (shows “content missing”).

Expected Behavior:

The like/unlike status should update correctly, reflecting the actual action (liked/unliked).

Clicking on the memory again after unliking should load the content without any errors.

Actual Behavior:

The like/unlike action doesn’t reflect the actual state, and when trying to unlike again, the memory shows a 404 error with missing content.

Could you please investigate and resolve this issue?

Thank you for your attention to this.

Best regards,

Yes its reproducible. What I noticed as well, if you just refresh the page after unliking, its fine.
