First of all, I want to thank all the hosts for taking time out to speak to me about all things Software Testing Clinic. The discussions we had were very illuminating and they presented lots of different challenges and opportunities for the future.
As promised, I have put collated the interviews and put together a report covering the topics that were discussed and the common patterns and ideas that were identified. The three key things I was hoping to find out about were:
- The current state of SWTC in regards to support for hosts and future hosts
- The best approach to organising community discussions and work for SWTC 2.0
- An initial capture of skills hosts need and want for a hosts pathway on the Dojo
The report focuses on the first two questions more as these are the more pressing topics at the moment and I’ve attempted to collate comments and themes into groups and use them as suggestions towards how we move forward. I have made all quotes anonymous.
