Test Conferences 2018 - Recommendations and Reviews

(Simon Godfrey) #1

Hi Test Folk,

I’m creating a budget for conference attendance for my team in 2018. I used to work for a company where we attended SIGIST and Eurostar regularly but in my last two roles (including this one) there hasn’t been a precedent for attending conferences, something I’m changing but I’m out of the loop with conferences to a degree.

I’ve looked at http://testingconferences.org for conferences located in Europe but would welcome any other suggestions and feedback from those who attended any of these in 2017.

Here’s the list of ones that appealed (in case anyone else finds this useful):

Testbash Dublin has a cost of €399 for a conference only ticket.

I have only ever attended Testbash’s. I find them very useful for both networking and topics covered. It really depend on what you want to get out of going to the conferences as to which ones will be best for you and your team to attend.
