What are you using since Tricentis gave SpecFlow EOL end of 2024?

We are using SpecFlow and Cucumber for our more recent API tests. We also had plans to convert the flaky legacy ones to SpecFlow. But with the EOL announcement a mere 11 days before the end date, I am guessing we’re going to need a new tool sooner rather than later.

What tools are you looking at? What are you planning on moving to? Are there any options that keep the BDD test cases? Is there anything you’ve seen with good reviews that make it easy to convert SpecFlow to the new framework?

I’m still in the beginning of the recovery phase, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

I haven’t used SpecFlow myself but its original creator Gáspár Nagy has launched the Reqnroll project which says it has forked SpecFlow and has migration guide from SpecFlow.

Hopefully it is easy to migrate you BDD tests cases.

Thanks for the reply. We were initially looking at them, but my coworker found a bunch of negative reviews. I didn’t know it was from the original creator. Maybe I’ll go look again
