What are the best way for finding users organically ?
Which communities helps ?
I believe the answer is pretty broad and totally depends on where you want to attract people. We are going to need a bit more context here
Are you trying to attract people to a product? To a testing guild? Making a community? All answers differ here
The answer relies on the questions above
Iβm assuming you been user acquistition?
How does this relate to your testing efforts? Normally user acquisition relates to marketing/growth.
Agree with the previous answer - itβs crucial to know the context! Are we talking about attracting users to a product, building a testing guild, or growing a community? Each path would lead us down a different strategy.
That said, hereβs a general tip from my experience: authentic engagement in existing communities often works better than trying to build something from scratch. Places like Ministry of Testing, testing-focused LinkedIn groups, and local meetups can be great starting points - but again, the best approach really depends on your specific goals.
Analytics : You have to have anonymised stats, what show for example usage patterns, to indicate how many people return to and use the application more than once. For example mobile apps are easy as the publishing platforms google and apple keep stats for install and uninstalls, the stats are somewhat inaccurate, but when you put those two graphs alongside each other, you get a good idea who decided to keep the app, and if you then add stats like crashes alongside that, you geta few free metrics for zero effort. Obviously if itβs an βofflineβ app without a web-service back-end you have to do this all yourself unless the framework you use give you analytics.
