What makes a meetup a Ministry of Testing Meetup?

There’s one or two on-again-off-again tester meetups in my area, and someone in my office has recently mentioned thinking about starting another. Organizing a meetup is pretty far out of my comfort zone but I would also love to help build a stable ongoing community in the area. I’ve been very impressed with the branding and presence of Ministry of Testing in all its events, including meetups, and I’m sure that having such a solid brand is part of its secret to success. This makes me curious: What does it take and what does it mean for a meetup to become a Ministry of Testing meetup?

Hi Gregory,

I can give you some of the technical info that might help you out - also I’m the person to nudge about getting meetup groups created under MoT.

We’ve gathered the information on getting set up, code of conduct, ethos etc here: https://www.ministryoftesting.com/handbook/meetups/

If I can help with more information, please feel free to shout!

Thanks @mcgovernaine, that’s pretty much exactly what I was looking for but just didn’t see the “Handbook” link on the main site.
