What's changed since 2019? What does a testing mindset mean to you?

Back in June 2019, @testerawesome asked:

What does testing mindset mean to you? What’s your tester mindset?

Have a read of the post. There’s lots of good discussion in there.

I’m curious to know where you’re at now. What’s different? Has the tester mindset evolved? What do you think it looks like now?

Yep, I appreciate an individual’s context/situation matters and you can’t comment for everyone. So I encourage you to just go for it wherever you are at right now. There are no wrong or right answers. Let’s help each other out by encouraging such an exploration.

Are we discussing what we think should be in an ideal world?
Or a review of what’s currently available on the job market, and as employed testers?

With time passing, there are fewer testers, and the mindset of those left degrades.
For a while, some testers seemed to attempt to lead testing. I see that less and less, so the mindset is now reduced based on the things imposed by the management.
