Iโm curious to know if people make use of a specific, especially awkward address when testing, such as during signup and form submission.
Similarly to the big list of naughty strings would be interesting to see a list of addresses that might catch out some applications.
There are a few fun ones here
This is a lengthy transfer of the highlights from a post originally posted by @sheymouse on the old Software Testing Club. The intention of the post was to compile a list of fun postcodes (from any country) which can be used when testing, and give a little spark of fun or interest. If Iโve mis-tagged or missed anyone, I apologise!
Original Thread
@sheymouse started off with some postcodes he uses regularly:
W1J 7NT - 149 Piccadilly, London. House of the Duke of Wellington
DE12 8HJ - 17 Burtonโฆ
I love testing anything that claims it can handle Irish addresses though because very few can (even Irish systems). Theyโre a very tangled web of โfunโ.
For example, in certain towns, if there is more than one person with the same name, you must include the last 4 digits of your phone number in with your address to ensure it goes to the right person.

I love that address testing thread! Every time it comes up I read it. There are so many good ones around for us to completely bamboozle systems.
