I just received an email that I received a badge!
So I’m wondering what other badges are out there that I’m missing?
Maybe I’m missing a crucial part of the website that I haven’t discovered yet!!
What I would suggest is to show all the badges but those which you haven’t obtained yet are greyed out and when you hover then, you’d be able to see the requirements?
I think it would also beneficial since if there is a badge for lets say “listen to podcast” - people would probably check out the podcasts especially if they didn’t know it was there.
Or even the “in the loop” badge
PS: I love badges, they are like pokemon. Gotta catch em all!
Badges are good way to showcase the contribution we have done to the MoT Community,
Additional suggestion from my side to this, they can add streak also so that folks are motivated to continue their streak to get the streak based badges. (Similar to stackoverflow, snapchat, etc.)
There are seperate MoT and Club badges. In the Club if you go to your summary you can see your badges. On MoT main site they are under My MoT. You can checkout my main here. I have quite a few but I think there are more available.
If you go to My badges (not public) there’s a longer tooltip which explains them better. That one is awarded to members who log into MoT 5 days in a row.
It’s more about the badges that I don’t have, so I cannot check them right now
The badges that I have are clear. I just want to know what’s out there and I should go to all peoples profiles to find out what’s out there
I asked and the plan is to have the main site work like the Club so you will be able to see the badges available to attain. Not sure on timescales but that’s the plan.

One day, we’ll have a better sync of badges on The Club and badges on MoT profiles. No release date on that one though, it’s low on the priority list.
We’ve got plans to display all attainable badges (the “greyed out” idea) eventually. No release date on that one either, yet I’d say it’s higher priority than syncing The Club/MoT profiles.
Will be exciting to see all that can be achieved!

For context, we have one and half developers working on all our site changes.
I recently noticed that even though I have multiple badges in this community when it comes to displaying badges then I can select only from two choices i.e. “Community Star” and “Above & Beyond”,
When the user can get multiple badges then there should be more options also to select.
E.g., I should be able to select the “Enthusiast” or “Out Of Love” badge for my username on The Club Forum.
Since it is Ministry of Testing hence public petition by Community members will required for acknowledgement, as well as escalation and resolvement on priority basis.
@simon_tomes I noticed something interesting while exploring the Ministry of Testing, when I click on the “Hot Topics” option on the left menu navigation then the content related to the “Hot Topics” section is loaded, even the URL is updated but on the left menu navigation “Latest Topics” is highlighted.
If the user clicks on “Hot Topics” and that page is loaded then the same should be highlighted on the left menu navigation.

I’ve tried a couple of different sessions and can’t recreate it. When I select Hot Topics, Hot Topics is highlighted and the URL is /hot and when I select Latest Topics, Latest Topics is displayed and the URL is /latest.
Would you mind logging out and logging back in again to see if that resolves it?
especially if they didn’t know it was there.
