Hi @mirza, the topic itself doesn’t have to be brand new, but as it’s community/MoT voted for, if it’s widely available (e.g online) folks might vote for others to see it, or may vote down if they have already seen it.
We do encourage your talk to be new though in the way you present it, or just by adding something new to it. We would prefer new/adapted talks, and it is certainly something we factor in when deciding, it gives the event more uniqueness.
There have been a lot more new talks at TestBashes than repeated ones.
@restertest you’re more than welcome to submit more than one abstract to the same conference! As long as they’re different ones .
All abstracts should be anonymous and voting will be done based on the content of each.
I just submitted the talk idea @restertest planned to deliver together, I’m not sure if this was done before on TestBash but I think it will be fun - if the talk idea gets accepted!
