Chatbot Not Loading in a Browser Private Mode – Bug or Browser Behavior?

While juggling a few tasks today, I took a moment to check our newly integrated chatbot—and noticed something odd. The chatbot fails to load in a Particular Browser (lets say Safari ) in its Private Mode only, across both desktop and mobile/tab devices for mac & iOS.

:white_check_mark: It’s working perfectly in:

  • Safari (regular mode)

  • Other major browsers, both normal and private modes

  • Other devices : Android, Desktop

Since the chatbot is embedded via a third-party script, I started wondering:

Could this be due to Safari’s privacy restrictions—like Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP) or blocked third-party cookies?

What does that mean for a regular user who isn’t using any VPN or proxy but simply browsing in Private Mode?

Has anyone faced a similar/Browser issue or discovered a reliable workaround?
