Hi everyone,
I’m Hanan. I’ve been in the testing industry for 5+ years now and have been through all sorts of large and small scale scale projects. I’ve worked with the most organized to the most disorganized teams. Lately, I’ve started to wander more into the world of automation to understand what its all about.
I really like to know how other testing professionals are working and that’s the reason I found ministry of testing.
Currently I’m exploring Playwright and Appium with Webdriver IO. If you’re interested in a discussion about these and AI drop me a message!
Hi @rosie, thanks so much for setting up this month. It is clear from the numerous and varied participants in this thread already how valuable that this is going to be.
I am a co-lead of Quality Engineering in a UK retailer. I am interested in three lenses:
-
AI in testing - which I believe this 30 days is all about. All the good stuff around self-healing tests, etc. Perhaps what I would find most intriguing would be automated imact analysis of code changes.
-
AI in engineering - broadening it out a bit how AI can help us improve process quality, code quality, system quality and product quality.
-
Testing AI - finally like @joyz has said I am also interested in the quality enigneering that goes around AI, so things like MLOps and where QE fits in there.
I look forward to the next 29 days! ![]()
Hello everyone,
My name is Brynjar, and I’m a software developer working for a company that specializes in drug logistics and prescriptions. This is my first interaction with the Ministry of Testing community, and I’m thrilled to be here. My journey into the tech world has been driven by a passion for creating solutions that streamline complex processes and improve efficiency, particularly in the healthcare sector.
My Interest in AI:
My interest in AI, especially in the context of testing, was sparked by the ongoing challenges we face in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our software systems. The healthcare industry, with its critical dependencies on accurate and timely data, presents unique challenges that I believe AI can help address. I’m particularly eager to learn more about AI’s role in automating time-consuming but mission-critical test cases. The potential for AI to enhance decision-making processes, predict outcomes, and identify issues before they become problematic is something I find incredibly fascinating.
My Goals:
Throughout this month-long challenge, my primary aim is to deepen my understanding of how AI can be integrated into testing workflows to automate and streamline processes. I’m particularly interested in exploring how AI can be leveraged to improve system testing, integrating with tools like TestRail, JIRA, and end-to-end testing libraries like Playwright. My hope is to discover methodologies and tools that can not only automate routine testing tasks but also enhance the quality and reliability of our testing processes. By doing so, I aim to contribute to the development of more robust and efficient software solutions within the drug logistics and prescription domain.
I’m looking forward to engaging with the community, sharing insights, and learning from the experiences of others. This challenge presents a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of AI and testing, and I’m excited to see how this knowledge can be applied to solve real-world problems in innovative ways.
Thank you for welcoming me into this vibrant community. I’m eager to embark on this learning journey and see where this exploration of AI in testing takes us!
Best,
Brynjar
Hi I’m Zoe, I’ve been involved with software in various roles for nearly 40 years, I am currently a SDET writing mostly load/perf tests at present in playwright with artillery, My company is Immersive Labs, I am interested in the ways that AI can be abused by bad actors, but also how we can use it to improve tests/code/quality - so far its mostly been as part of VS code and as a code helper for when I know there is a concept but don’t know its implementation in TS.
Hey,
Priyasi here, with over a decade of experience in the testing industry, I’m keen to explore the potential of AI for QA. I believe AI holds significant capabilities that can revolutionise the QA processes.
I’m eager to fully leverage these capabilities and enhance my understanding of how AI can elevate our QA practices. Grateful for the opportunity to delve into this exciting area of exploration.
hi everyone ! it`s very interesting opportunity to go deeper in AI
Hi All!
I’m Nadja from the most beautiful ugly city there is, Berlin ![]()
I had to give up the dream of being a master carpenter just before the last exam because of medical reasons, and being a young single mum made me take on any job that was offered. But one day, after I had lost my last job as a food delivery rider, my best friend told me to apply as a software tester at the company he was working at. So I did, and I got the job. I started exactly 5 years ago on Monday!
Currently I am the project manager of a legacy software for a small team of 3 developers, and I love it ![]()
My Interest in AI
I am fascinated by the possibilities. I am scared what the human kind will come up with. We’ve seen the range of imagination in the movies and recent Netflix shows. Will we try to fix the past with AI? Or will we allow it to take over our lifes?
Of course, we are only dipping our toes in the water right now. Sentinent AIs are something from the future. When will that future be? Will that future be or will we blow up the world over the resources needed before that? How do we prevent blowing up the world?
Many applications already use LLMs for decision making. How can the reliability of these decisions be tested?
And of course, finally: What testing tools use AI already? How do they work? How will they make the life of my team easier? Does it really make sense to use LLMs for a specific process or is there still a better way?
My Goal
My goal is simple: It is to complete this
30 Days of Testing in 30 days!
Have fun everyone!
Hello Rosie! I’m a 22 year veteran of QA and currently I’m operating as a Programme Test Manager in the Energy & Utilities space. I’ve also been a Head of Testing at a number of different organisations. I’ve been following the Ministry of Testing from afar for several years, and this is my first event.
My interest in AI is: look. AI is here to stay and it’s only getting faster and better. I want to be surfing the wave rather than drowning in its wake. I think there are plenty of places AI could help in testing, from writing manual test scripts to automating testing and helping present results.
Goals: Basically, I want to find ways my teams can leverage AI while they’re having fun with it! I want to demystify AI for those that might be concerned about it. I want to find a way we can embrace it as an industry.
Looking forward to it!
Hello,
I am Geetanjali Bhat, have been in Quality Assurance for 11 years, and have been working in different platforms and frameworks. I am curious about how testing in AI and would be interested in exploring more.

Hi everyone,
my name is Silvia. I’m working for a small company in Austria as a Software Test Engineer for more than 4 years now.
I am fascinated by AI in general, but would like to learn more about how I can use it in my work to improve myself and my results.
Hi rosie, im chakravarthy currently working as an intern in a startup and i like to use AI in testing because it ill make life easier for testers.
Hola Rosita!
Jokin Aspiazu here, from Valencia, Spain
I been in testing since 2008, and since I now have a role as team lead, I want to practice my IA skills in order to remain updated and be able to provide sound advise when asked to.
Hello everyone!
Hello everyone,
I am a manual QA, and a QAautomation in training, as an ordinary person I am curious about the scope of AI and its evolution for the future, as a QA I would like to know how to approach it in projects in which I can participate.
Hi team! My name is Adela and I’m starting my journey in testing working as a data engineer for a sustainability software company. Super glad to be here and hope to learn a lot from you all!
Hi everyone,
I’m Amanda, and I’m currently a junior QA engineer in a small start-up. I’ve not interacted (directly) very much with AI, but I’m keen to fill in the gaps in my knowledge. I’m hoping to learn more about AI and how I can incorporate it (and what to beware of) at work and in my personal projects.
Looking forward to learning from and with everyone!
My name is Louise Gibbs and I am a Test Automation Developer at PebblePad, where we develop software for universities. I am also a keen public speaker, and enjoy attending and speaking at testing conferences includes several Test Bash events.
AI will always be a fascinating topic, from books and films with speculation on the support and dangers AI can bring to society, to practical real world applications where AI has helped enhance an application. At the moment I have no idea on how AI can help with testing, so I am taking part in this challenge to learn more about AI from a testing point of view and hopefully learn something new which can be applied to my daily testing activities.
Hello, community,
My name is Cristina Carrageis, I have 2 degrees in Radiotherapy and IT and Management of Systems. I have worked as a Radiotherapist and a teacher for 10 years and moved to the IT market after taking a bachelor’s degree in IT and Management of Systems. I’m currently a Senior QA Engineer for almost 2 years in my current company. I was already following MoT through Linkedin, 3 years ago when I was searching for a testing community, but only started making good use of it last year.
AI has appeared and some mention it will finish the human work, but my opinion it’s AI will help to speed up our work, the knowledge and expertise are still owned by humans, so the combination of Machines and Humans will benefit a lot.
My goals are to learn and share inputs and ideas on how could we use AI for testing, my noob experience, I use to elaborate POC drafts on component tests, Prepare topics for workshops that I wanted to do, and make sure to consider security best practices, such as don’t use your organization name, no names and no critical information about the organization assets.
Welcome to this journey.
Cheers,
Cristina
Hi all, I’m Rabi’a Brown, Wordsmith here at Ministry of Testing. I’m sure I’ll be seeing more article submissions for MoT that deal directly with AI, and it’s been a while since I’ve been actively involved in tech on the job. So I need to keep current! Looking forward to the next 30 days and the associated discussion here in the Club.
