One of my regular interview questions is “Tell me about something that you missed in testing and the impact it had on users, how did it make you feel and what did you learn from it?”

That’s a great question, @chrissi. And thanks for calling out that we all miss something. It’s what makes us stronger as testers.

Confirmation bias experience

Thanks for sharing, @agw. That reminds me of a time I fell into the regression testing complacency trap. I wonder if there’s a bias name for it. The sales team rushed into our office to point out that ad revenue had suddenly taken a dip.
