We are looking for a tool to enable our functional QA team for in-sprint automation. We primarily want it to be free as we already have an automation framework in place but it takes longer to add new cases due to a sizeable backlog at this point.
I came across OpenTest tool (getopentest.org) and found it quite apt for some of the requirements we have. I am looking for experienced user or a feedback from the group as to usability of the tool.
- Main areas we looking to automate are UI and API
- We do have pretty complex APIs with file attachments, big JSON payload.
- Data passing between the scenarios is crucial
- Finally, the learning curve for people with less/ no coding experience
