This week’s task analysis session has been continuing the focus on test planning, specifically on following test plans which is our next task in the Junior testing curriculum based on the Job Profile we captured with the support of the testing community.
Specifically, for this session, we were considering the following task:
Following test plans
Combining a series of community activities including social questions and our curriculum review sessions to identify the steps we need to take to successfully achieve this task and have listed them below.
- Read through and interpret the details of a test plan
- Identify and execute tasks to get the product ready for testing
- Identify and arrange any testing requirements needed for testing
- Execute the activities identified within the test plan
- Report results of testing and progress of a test plan
