@lisa.crispin challenged attendees to think about how they would test a soda machine in her TestBash Manchester talk “Thinking Outside the Box: Cognitive Bias and Testing with Lisa Crispin” and I thought it would be an ideal question to have a bit of fun with here on The Club.
So, how would you test a soda machine?
I will try the happy path
I will try to get free soda by clicking on buttons simloutinsly
Will try to request a soda can that is out of stock
Will try to request a soda can without inserting money
Click on the dispense coin when no coins are inserted
Try to insert fake money
Try how the machine calculates change
For me, when you first go into a new feature/product it can be completely overwhelming, but once you get into it, it’s not as scary as it seems!
