I’m going to announce some changes to MoT at TestBash.
For a bit of fun, guess what they are in the thread below.
If you already know, please don’t spoil the fun. ![]()

Copied from Slack
Not a Scooby, but here’s a few thoughts;
The return of online conference(s) / Christmas online party
Badges for badge collecting (every 10?) and for every 50 / 100 community stars
On-demand, pay-as-you-go TestBash talk access, per TestBash. All the talks and materials for £?
Full-on social networkification with algorithms suggesting learning content and short adverts or additional slide before talks (never during)
Earn digital cards through engagement about famous bugs, community legends, techniques and tools. They could be swapped if you get doubles etc.
Bug of the week. Someone posts a bug report, sometimes very detailed, sometimes vague. Members guess root causes or suggest risks, tests etc. Members could submit bugs for it based on their experiences.
Hm, random thoughts:
That’s it, those are my “predictions” ![]()
I think I know one - I wont spoil though ![]()
I can think of -
Hopefully not a new logo as my arm lacks much space for more!
Not sure if it’s as much of a guess or a hope but a feature to help make MoT the best place for testing discussion. I’ve been using LinkedIn to connect and learn but it is HORRIBLE. With the feeds and follow features recently… dare I dream?
Alternatively I’ve got a neat wee app for tracking sharks, whales, leopards, sloths & more.
Would it be a tracking app to see the movements of Mr Bug, Space Duck & Space Seagull around the world? Available when you purchase a plush or bracelet.
MoT Memories can replace your LinkedIn feed!
We do have a following page, just haven’t publicly announced it, but more importantly, we need to do some work to design it into the the platform.
It would be good to chat about this, our internal MoTto atm is to ‘not let all the social networks have all the fun’. We definitely need support to help us achieve that.
Tracking app sounds like a high priority. ![]()
Ok, what about MoTium?
You’re introducing an automation framework?
