👋 Introductions Thread – Q1 2025

Hi, I am Andres, I am from Spain but I am live in Germany. I have been working as a software Tester for Automotive Sector for the last six years. I wan to continue my life as software Tester but with a 100% remote job that I could perform from Spain. Something that for now I have no idea on how to do because when applying to any QA job is more important to have expertise in Selenium as experience as a Tester. I just discovered that software testers have this big community and I still trying to figure it how it works.

Have good day everybody.

Hi everyone,

I’m Thomas, a committed QA professional from Germany.
I’m excited to join MOT Club to connect with others who share my enthusiasm for testing. I’m looking forward to both sharing my knowledge and learning from other testers. My areas of interest include automation, API testing and exploratory testing.

Thanks so much to everyone who has introduced themselves on this thread. It’s great to see you here and to learn more about you. :star_struck:

If you haven’t read them, I recommend these two posts from CEO and founder, Rosie Sherry (@rosie). You’ll get a sense of the many opportunities you have to co-create and grow your career.

See you around the MoTaverse. :rocket:

Hello every one! :waving_hand:

I am excited to post my introduction here. I am in the MoT community for a few months now, and following some of the events, but didn’t take the time to introduce myself yet.

I started my journey in software development by engaging in a web developer diploma course in 2020. During this training, I had an internship in a company where the lead dev had the brilliant idea of asking me to set up automated tests in one of their client’s application. I loved it! But the certification jury did not recognize the value of it, and I did not obtain the certification.

So I stepped away from software development for a few years, until last year, when I thought “But wait! I really enjoyed testing! What about beginning a QA career?” And here I am! I just completed my software QA diploma course (waiting for the certification now, wish me luck! :crossed_fingers: ) and I can’t wait to find my first QA job!

I really enjoy the kindness and the eclecticism of the community! I hope I will contribute as much as I learn!

Lately, I’ve been diving into AI in testing and enhancing my automation skills, which has been both exciting and rewarding. I look forward to exploring more in this space and growing alongside this community.

Hi everyone, I’m Mercy, a test engineer intern at Medtronic. I’m based in London, and this is my first tech job. Well, I was initially hired as a software Engineering intern, but I quickly changed my mind on what career path I wanted to take.
I was introduced to MOT by my mentor and did the course Introduction to software development and testing. I loved it, it was very informative, and I want to learn even more.
I’m training to be a full stack tester and I’ve done some performance tests, UI tests and I’m hoping that by joining the community I learn even more

I love horror and any other form of media entertainment. I’m also keen on conversations about testing and any other thing in general. Here’s my Linkedin:
