Hello everyone, i.e., only @simon_tomes
Looks like I am going to be the one breaking the ice this quarter…
Anyway, I am Ujjwal Kumar Singh, currently working as a software tester in Gurgaon, India.
I joined the Ministry of Testing out of curiosity 1 year ago to connect with professional testers, exchange ideas, and learn from the shared insights. Over the past year, this journey has been amazing. I have had the chance to meet so many wonderful people, both online and offline, through this community. Looking forward to learn from and also contribute to this community.
At the moment, I am exploring various automation topics to strengthen my foundation. Alongside that, I am also exploring different AI tools both from a tester’s perspective and for personal curiosity.
A little fun fact: I shared a couple of memes with MoT, and since then, my interest in meme-making has skyrocketed So yes, I am definitely excited to create and share more memes with the MoT community in the future…
On a slightly more serious note, system thinking and AI agents are other topics that seem quite fascinating to me.
Also, I am part of a small API testing group here focused on Postman, and thanks to that, I find myself learning something new in Postman almost every day (or at least every other day!).
Happy to reintroduce myself with a link and potential new bio I’m thinking of changing to, let me know what you think.
Ady Stokes, first of my name. Trusted quality advisor. Trainer of testers. Ministry of Testing Ambassador. Digital accessibility advocate and international keynote speaker.
Hi Everyone! I’m new to the Ministry of Testing as an organization, but not new to testing in general. I’ve been testing for over 25 years. I found out about the Ministry of Testing a few years ago through my employer who helped start up a local chapter of MOT in the Cincinnati OH area. Now, I’m coleading the group. I’m excited to see what information I can learn from everyone here. I’d really like to learn more about leveraging AI SAFELY (balancing PII, etc) in the QA process.
Hey, I’m Demi. I’ve been a member of the MOT community for a while, but somehow never got around to introducing myself in a thread like this.
I’ve been a tester for two years now and am based in Belgium. Currently I want to fill in the holes in my knowledge about testing in general, so learning about all kinds of testing strategies and techniques I don’t know much about like accessibility testing, api testing, …
Regularly I’m a co-host on TWIT and I recently also contributed to The Testing Planet. At the moment I’m writing my first article for MOT, so hoping to get that out soon

I’m looking to expand my network and connect with like-minded professionals in the testing space. I’ve been in the automated testing field for the last 10 years, working across a range of tools and frameworks.
This year, I’ve set myself some goals, to start contributing through articles and dive into public speaking. The Ministry of Testing community feels like the perfect place to kick that off!
Looking forward to learning from you all and hopefully sharing something useful along the way.
HI @rosie , thanks for the welcome! Yes, been having a look through the site. Lots of useful talks and content! I did submit a proposal for an article, but I had already published it before. I’m interested in turning it into a talk. Is it just a case of submitting the proposal for a talk on the subject?
Hi all,
I have attended many MoT events over the years, however not long realised that I had never joined up online.
A little bit about myself…. I stared to get involved in testing/QA at around 2001 when I was asked to help out with the UAT a customer was performing. Since then, I have carried out many roles such as.. TA/QA, Senior TA/QA, Lead, Manager, Consultant, Defect manager (across both functional and non-functional). Nearly all of the projects have been in the financial sector with a one or two projects being the in the retail and public sector space.
I am located near Edinburgh in Scotland (great city if you have not visited).
Currently getting to grips with Python and within a couple weeks hope to start looking at Playwright.
Hi everyone! I’m Vishnudevi. I have 3 years of experience in automation testing, mainly in the healthcare and e-commerce domain. Hello everyone! My name is Don. I came across Ministry of Testing while doing my research on the testing world and it looks like a cool community. What I am excited about right now is being able to learn manual and automation testing (super excited for automation). Being on a computer and solving problems is what i enjoy doing and testing seems to be a good fit for me and where i am in my life. I am based in Virginia, USA. I enjoy listening to music, watching basketball and listening to podcasts or just improving myself daily.
My profile is pretty bland as I have just made this account but I’m looking forward to hopefully making an impact of some sort around here! My Profile
.:“Hi all I’m Ian from Johannesburg, pivoting from ISO 9001 auditing into software testing. Excited to tackle the 30 Days challenge and learn API & Selenium automation!
Hi folks,
introductions.. mh, yeah.. 50 years in 5 minutes.. lets do it!
Living in Hamburg my whole life, with a a few years living & working in Bahrain, there is not really any city alternative in Germany for me.
I am in testing since 2000 and my passion has always been “humans” and “computers”, so I create and run community events, from local meetups to national and international events (STWC and latest: Testsociety). I like to connect people and create showcases to show off our profession to others.
Worked as a testing consultant for a decade and now I am a kind of internal consultant for a eCommerce focused company.
Most things connecting to testing I have probably done over time; worked in small to large companies, with agile, Agile, SAFe and other work models.
I am not the best in writing code or automation code; have more theoretical knowledge.
I’m relatively new to software testing as a career path. I’m located in Michigan and recently transitioned from a Technical Support role to that of a QA Team Lead. I lead a small team, that includes me and two others.
I’ve got really good time management and troubleshooting skills, which has helped me in this transition. I’ve got over 20 years of working on electronic devices of all sorts.
I’ve been spending most of my time trying to learn the nomenclature for this field. I look forward to reading up and learning new things and ways to improve my processes.
Hi All !! I’m Vasanth Ram. Been in software testing career for close to a decade. Have had a good mix of project experiences both at Enterprise and small scale autonomous ones as well.
As part of my career, have witnessed the transition from conventional testing practices to current day ‘continuous-instant’ delivery types !! and massive explosion of tools, frameworks over the years.
Based in Australia now, used to be in MOT few years ago. This is a return to the new look ‘MOT’. Look forward to learning new areas in testing, hearing from fellow professionals from across globe on topics of interest, and networking here.
I am Ezer Getulio from Brazil. I have been working as a manual QA for five months in a project that involves Web + App.
Everything about this job is still a whole new world to me. I would like to learn how to improve my testing skills, like automation, better practices on bug tracking, time management and documentation.
My special thanks to the MoT team for creating this wonderful place to help us.
