The Software Testing Clinic had a meetup last week in London about testing interviews. There’s been a few posts on here about logic puzzles and interviewing, particularly Hiring processes and emphasis placed towards puzzles and reasoning tests.
I don’t really enjoy logic puzzles in interviews, I like working on them in my own time. In a previous company, we used to take it a turn about each week bringing in a logic puzzle or a quiz for everyone in the company. My favourite was Braingle, particularly useful when there are hints included for a larger audience.
@deborah.lee shared on the Slack channel that some of the logic puzzles from the Software Testing Clinic came from the book "How would you move Mount Fuji” by William Poundstone.
For those of you who do enjoy logic puzzles, where do you get yours from?
