Market trends from a recruiter

I enjoyed reading a post about the trends that Jack Cole has spotted. He’s a recruiter and I imagine is well-positioned to see and hear about a lot of things going on with the testing/QA market.

Have a read of his insightful LinkedIn post. He mentions codeless automation, data QA engineers, platform teams, ensemble testing (which he refers to with the old name of “mobbing”), accessibility and contract testing.

What did you make of the trends? How relevant is it to your training and career ambitions?

(note, I’ll message Jack on LinkedIn and hopefully get him on The Club so he can continue the conversation with you all)

I agree @simon_tomes. It was interesting indeed to get a sight of what the market is asking for. It also speaks to a shift or broadening of skillset that is needed to respond to the demands of the market. I appreciate it might be a minor perspective however it was a good reminder to be in a continuous state of learning and also sharing of that learning so the knowledge gap is reduced.
