The company I work for have developed a feature in which it enables users to sync a website calendar with the calendars on their devices. I am struggling to identify a way of testing this in a test environment and wondered whether the lovely members of MoT would be able to advise me on a way that I can do this please.
If by “calendars on their devices” you mean calendar mobile apps then probably Appium would be a right solution.
That will, however, cost you quite a lot of work just for checking one feature.
Using Appium, you would be able to create a test that will check the calendar app for you.
Everything depends, of course on the path that you’ll need to check.
