Top Tip: Buy audio book via Kindle app

Not a book recommendation, but something that was mentioned to me a few months ago which I didn’t know could be done, but has proved very useful.

When buying an ebook via the Kindle app there is often an option to add the audible version for an extra amount. Once purchased and downloaded the audiobook synchs with the ebook. Effectively, you watch someone read the book to you.

I’ve used this for a couple of books now and find I retain a lot more of the information in the book.

Hope this helps with your continual learning journey, dear reader.

Also if you have an iPhone (or other iOS device) you can simply purchase an eBook, turn Speak Screen and then have the phone (Siri’s voice) read your book to you. It comes as part of iOS’s Accessibility features: https://www.kenst.com/2017/10/accessibility-improvements-or-the-end-of-audiobooks/
