4-25-25: What were your wins this week?

Big or small, you did something wonderful, even if you were the only person to be present for it. What were your wins this week?

We’d love to celebrate those with you

I apologise: No testing wins this week.

I enjoyed the first week of my vacation, and just now came back from swimming (in the North Sea).

Another win: I went to an exhibition about the Bayeux Tapestry (Bayeux Tapestry - Wikipedia) at . Incredible art work, shocking information how the Nazis tried to bend history misusing it.
If you’re interested in history and/or art I can recommend (well and if you’re close enough to consider visiting :slightly_smiling_face:). Homepage - Museum für Archäologie Schloss Gottorf

Don’t know if it was a win but I got my entire product team to watch a LeadDev webinar on tech debt and they were engaged about it with me and it engineering team afterwards. Other teams learning about something other than business goals I think is a win. :tada:

My week has been a roller coaster as usual :

  1. Explored an AI agent for WhatsApp conversation but then realized that it is paid after certain replies… so before becoming happy for automating my replies, I got sad… :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
  2. Attended a Linux meetup which was organized by FOSS United, which contributes to the Linux OS, and it was a pretty good experience because it was for developers, and it was my first developer meetup, so I got to know new things as the whole talks were about everything except testing
  3. Got blue tick on MoT profile :white_check_mark:
  4. Exploring svm algorithm

But as usual missed many things, especially my weekly goals. One reason was that this week my office work was too much, hence I couldn’t give much time to myself. :slightly_smiling_face:

  • Organized another meetup :party_parrot: had loads of fun!
  • Gave a Training about API Hacking for Testers in a different country!
  • Started to create a presentation about coaching & quotes and had lots of inspiration, so I’m super hyped.

Probably my 3 highlights!

I had a week vacation.

And I’m irritated by the date format of the thread. While it reads by the minus like ISO 8601, I guess that the 4 means the month and is by that a US format.

This is definitely a win! I share things weekly with my engineering team and getting them to engage can be difficult. So excited you were able to have conversations around tech debt!

So nice to have those type of highs!

Yes, this is the US format. I’m happy to change it to a different format. It helps me to think more globally vs. locally.
