Displaying Soap UI (ReadyAPI) Test Results in MS Test Manager

I have a question in regards to creating tests in Microsoft Test Manager (or VSTS Test Plan) and linking those tests to SoapUI Pro (or Ready API as it’s now called!). This will give me tracibility via the user story and reporting on the Dashboard. Has anybody ever achieved this or know of any resourse to do it?

Manay thaks as always

You can’t view those kinds of test results in MTM/VSTS Test Plan (or Azure DevOps Test Plan now lol) - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/pipelines/test/reference-qa?view=vsts#test-types
Really just automated tests written in .NET it looks like.

but you can write API tests in .NET  I’ve got some resources here https://g33klady.com/category/coding-stuff/

Actually, you sort-of can, but to do it you’ve got to program the hookup between what you run in SOAPUI Pro/Ready API and TFS. I can say from experience that this is not for the faint of heart. I have managed to make it happen, but in my opinion the amount of suffering involved in working with the TFS API isn’t worth the result you get.

Unless you’ve got someone who’s extremely good at sorting through obtuse APIs that aren’t intended to be called by us lowly users, you’re probably better off having shell test cases in TFS/VSTS/MTM and manually marking them passed to get your dashboard results.
