Presenting at Test Bash 2024?

Calling all Test Bash 2024 presenters.

I am looking forward to your presentations at Test Bash 2024, but I do hope I can see them! I am severely sight impaired, so please make them accessible.

For some great tips and advice on making presentations accessible I strongly recommend you read the post by A11y_Ady:

Also, remember that your presentation will be on a large screen to a room of people with possibly different accessibility needs, so maybe asking someone with such needs to give your presentation a once-over before the event. I will happily give my 2-pence worth from a visually impaired point of view. Feel free to contact me if that interests you.

Thanks for reading.

Hey Connor, thanks for posting this and reminding speakers, I have shared it with them as a reminder.

Is there anything else we can do at TestBash that you would find helpful?

Hi Rosie,

Thanks for sharing my reminder.

One thing I noticed about the venue last year was that the tea/coffee was served in dark cups, on a dark table cloth, with dark napkins, in a ( most times) darkened room. Not a good mix for a guy like me who drinks black coffee/tea and likes a chocolate chip cookie!

If I think of anything else I will pop you a note.

Thanks.

Ah, interesting point. It totally makes sense now that you say it.

I’ll feed that back to the team.
