TestBash creates a lot of new ideas. A whole load of sparks in a short space of time. And it can be tricky to take those ideas back to the workplace.
What important things have you already shared or planned to share with your colleagues? What approach might work?
I appreciate that I’m reviving an old topic but today I used @robbie.falck’s talk on ways of working as inspiration for putting together a visual representation of how teams that I’ve started supporting go about their testing. Whilst not as deep (or pretty) as the diagrams shown in the talk, it was interesting and for me very useful. The devs representing the teams seemed positive about it as well.
The org that I’m now involved with use very old fashioned test strategy docs and I hope to suggest this as an alternative!
