What's been a blocker to running a collaborative testing session? How did you overcome it?

During Ben Dowen’s (@fullsnacktester) Masterclass webinar – Teamwork Makes the Full-Stack Testing, Dream Work – I asked:

What’s been a blocker to running a collaborative testing session? How did you overcome it?

Ben shared this advice:

  1. If you’re getting resistance, try to find one ally whom you could pair up with just to move forward. Make the outcome visible to others. Show the value of your testing and your working together.
  2. Running regular sessions with different members of the team. Spend the last 5 minutes reflecting and note it down. Build up loads of anecdotal evidence of how it worked well.

How about you, what blockers have you faced when running collaborative testing sessions?

How did you overcome them?
