Hello from galaxy far far away (Australia)

Hi all, I am Ali from Australia - I am working on a product called Pages (It is in early access right now) https://mypages.app - I would love to get some feedback on my product which includes WEB, iOS, Android apps and Chrome/Firefox Extensions

Hi @aliusman welcome and thanks for sharing. I’m looking forward to looking at your product and good luck with it. Initially when I registered on a chrome form page the mail went to my iPhone and as you can see from the image below, there was no visible button, although it is formatted nicely. You could actually get to the button with a stab in the dark so to speak.

I forwarded the mail to outlook where the confirm email ‘button’ is a link and the logos render as quite large so there’s a lot of scrolling to get to the button.

Finally, for a new product allowing it to ‘read and change all your data on the websites that you visit’ seems excessive permission to add a bookmark to a list but that could be my minimal security testing knowledge putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 99!

Hi @adystokes - Thank you for excellent feedback - After you pointed out I had a look and yes there is a styling issue with ‘Confirm Button’ when sending to Hotmail/outlook. Thank you so much for let me know  In regards to your concerns about “read and change the data on all websites” - I completely understand how it sounds  Many extensions in the Chrome Web Store want to “read and change all your data on the websites you visit”. That sounds a little dangerous—and it can be—but many extensions just need that permission to do their jobs. This article explains it way better than I can write in my answer - Please have a read and let me know if you have any other questions.
