Hi Everyone,
Iβm going to take an ISTQB Agile Tester exam, do you have any advice for me?
Where can I practice the test or do some dump test before the exam?
Many thanks.
Here you can find the syllabus and two sample exams Agile Tester (istqb.org)
See if there is official book of the authors of exams.
Also, search on youtube for videos where the questions are explained.
Always look for official exam samples ( nils put the link).
Good luck!
Hi @nhunguyen11 i have attached a link below, you can try this website for mock test. It is completely free.
Hi. Can I ask what your motivations are for taking this exam? Or is this something your employer is sending you on?
Its been a while and not one I coach people on anymore but if it still follows the same multiple choice format the following worked well.
Get practice tests a lot of them and do them. Revisit the questions you got wrong to learn the pattern. Redo the tests a few times until you are getting all questions correct.
What you are learning here is the exams way of thinking and learning to choose the most likely answer that they are looking for quickly.
It was almost a pattern recognition skill and to be honest sometimes I asked students to turn their brain down a notch and remember that the exam had a bias for the answers they were looking for and you need to learn those.
They were a bit like aptitude some companies give out, the last one I did took me about three days practice to go from being slow and average to fast and top 5%.
Aside from taking time to carefully read multi-choice questions, as some of the options are worded in a very similar manner to throw you off the right track, if English is not your native language I remember that there was an option to get additional time for your exam, I think you can get extra 15 minutes - which should help since exams after the foundational level have more questions in them.
Thanks for your advice guy
Itβs really great, many thanks for your help
Yeah, this advice is really helpful for me before taking the exam. Nice to hear it from you guy. Many thanks
Yeah, it means that if Iβm working on a project that uses the Agile technique for SDLC, then I should take this type of exam to learn more knowledge about it. This will also help me grow up in my career path ^^.
I guess this is where I say that an SDLC is anti-agile and as oxymoronic as an Agile Project Manager?
