Trends: Can we see stats?

Really liked @jesper’s piece on tooling trends:-

I wondered, would it be possible to see the numbers behind the figures to support an argument for their use e.g. we could add a stat to a POC research to say X number of respondents in Y with team sizes of Z are using tool abc?

Unfortunately, we don’t have that much detail in the surveys so far. One of the starting points for the analysis was this thread:

Thanks @jesper - hopefully its the sort of experiment that can be repeated at scale with the anonymised data exposed for querying (a powerBi dashboard or something would be next level).

I’ve been a fan of practitests state of testing annual report for years now, but they don’t publish their data so its hard to form a clear conclusions or write a persuasive argument on why we should rely on the data in there.
