What are the benefits of joining an online forum with live chat?

I’m a bit old to be firmly labeling an idea as “Meta”, but definitely prescient, yes. A while back when I still had a stack overflow account, the only thing I used it for was the live chat sessions feature. Those are a brilliant resource for me with selenium and web but mostly mobile test questions. But you sadly need an account to get in. The live chat streams in general might move too fast for some people, but it (in my experience) attracts a different audience and solves that “immediate” question you have, and also establishes far better “positivity” of one’s understanding or grasp. I also find it builds network far better than forums build. Too often I read a blog or forum post and due to either the age of the post or the context, I’m left unsure.

Live chat is just “healthier” for you all round sometimes (#not-a-medical-advice-claim).
