So, I’ve set up an account and am on the waiting list. Not sure how I’d use it, as I’m not particularly confident at public speaking, or even on a phone (and yet if you were to meet me in person, you’d probably think, as my uncle’s husband once said, that I’d been injected with a gramophone needle).

Hey Racketeers!

How are you all doing? I’ve noticed the " hype " is a bit moving on but there are still some die-hards like @neil who made a racket daily. I would definitely not have been able to make rackets every single day.
I’m still making rackets but more like 2-3/week. I prefer to leech of the volley questions also and make some completely by myself.

I find it hard sometimes to come up with a topic to talk about since I’m pretty new myself to “Pod-Casting”. Did you guys experience this also and is that why some of you guys stopped making rackets?

I’m maybe looking for some tips from the people who are still active to see where they find their inspiration of topics.

It’s true that sometime I find many ideas to make even 2 or 3 rackets per day and some time a whole week without rackets.
one of the sources that I insired me:

  • sometime a simple thread in twitter or linkedin could give you an idea about a topic
  • or a question via ASK or Volleys as you mentionned
  • also I went back to some of my previous talks/blog I find some ideas that could be splitted into rackets.
  • listening to your nice rackets @kristof usually you end by a question that could generate new rackets ideas

they said mobile app racket is coming soon …

I quite fancy giving Racket a try but am in serious need of followers. Apologies for being another needy person.

I got to admit, I’ve been lazy when it comes to racketing, but here is one:

It got asked to me as a question and I figured it would be rude not to reply.

Hey MoT Racketers,

I have a colleague who’s trying to break onto Racket, and needs his first ten followers before he can begin broadcasting! He already has a YouTube video series (spoilers, I’ll be appearing on it in a couple of weeks!) and wants to start bringing his dev/tech chat into the Racket space.

Created my first volley: What do people assume you do as a tester? | Racket

Are volleys automatically broadcasted to followers?

No, but they show up in your follower’s feeds and I think under trending, maybe few more places.

Yes, if notifications are turned on for this.
